Sangria lives up to family legacy at Flemington

Date: 09/03/2020

As a blue-blooded filly from Australia’s most productive family, the aim was always to try and get some black type with I Am Invincible filly Sangria for her owners John and Deb Camilleri, and she got the job done in powerful fashion this weekend at Flemington in the Listed Incognitus Stakes.

Let roll along by in form jockey Glen Boss, Sangria produced an eye catching display of speed, kicking off a strong pace throughout and holding on from Absolute Flirt.

Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Sangria was a $650,000 Inglis Easter Yearling purchase by JHB, and comes from a family littered with black type and Champions, illustrated below.
