Warranty too good at Kensington

A James Harron Bloodstock purchase at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, the beautifully-bred All Too Hard filly Warranty did a great job in her first racing preparation last Spring, when twice a winner, including at Saturday level at Randwick, and culminating in a most-unlucky third at Listed level during the Flemington carnival.

She has returned to the races in great heart, and despite the distance of 1100m being well short of her best, produced a devastating turn of foot to win on Wednesday at Kensington, the only horse of the entire to dip under 33 seconds for her final 600m, running 32.83s.

This kind of finishing speed will stand her in great stead as she heads to the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas, over a much more suitable 1400m Saturday 28th March.

Big congratulations to John and Deb Camilleri’s Fairway Thoroughbreds.
